ShowBackground

The peripheral devices receipt printer and cash drawer needs to be installed and configured on each POS machine.

ShowSteps to install and configure EPSON Printer and Cash Drawer

  1. Double click on the Epson OPOS_ADK_80ER.exe to extract the setup files.
  2. Double click on the setup file to start the installation.
  3. Select the language as 'English' and click OK to continue.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement and Click Next.
  6. Select No registry file and click Next.
  7. Select User and click Next.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Select USB port and click Next.
  10. Click Finish to finish the installation.
  11. This will open the EPSON OPOS ADK tools.
  12. Right click on the POS Printer and click on the “Add new device”. Enter the details as below and click Next.
  13. Click on the Check Health Interactive button.
  14. It should show a success message. Click OK to close the message box and click Finish.
  15. Right click on the CashDrawer and click Add New Device and enter the details as below:
  16. Click the Next button and select the Connection Type as below and click OK.
  17. Click on the Check Health Interactive button.
  18. It should show a success message and open the drawer.
  19. Click Ok.

ShowSteps to install and configure Sewoo Printer and Cash Drawer

  1. Double click on the Sewoo OLE POS Setup-78.exe to start the installation.
  2. Click Next twice.
  3. Click Finish.
  4. Open Setup POS app.
  5. Select the POS Printer and click on the Add New Device button to add a printer.
  6. Select the option as below and click OK.
  7. Select the POSPrinter ThermalU then click on the Device Details.
  8. Then click on the Printer Test And Settings.
  9. Then click on the Printer Test button and verify it’s printed the receipt.
  10. Select the CashDrawer option then click on the Add New Device button.
  11. Select the options as below then click on the OK button.
  12. Select the CashDrawer StandardU_2 then click on the Device Details Click on the Printer.
  13. Click on printer Test And Settings.
  14. Click on the Printer Test button and verify the Cash Drawer is open.
